Gas attendant told us she wouldn't go over there, meaning the out door toilets.
The lady that came out to gas the car seemed all right, but the crack heads were wandering around like zombies. Using the restroom, a couple, three or four crackheads were sitting and laying on the back side of it, toilets are in an outside building. One crack head came stumbling in out of the woods.
I believe the only reason we didn't have any confrontations was that I'm 6 foot 4, my niece is pushing 6 foot and we walked our rather large shepherd mix dog. I think it is a perfect example of how crack has ruined a small rural town.
Ok, On November 4th my son and I drove from Portland to Sacramento. When we needed some gas we stopped at Wolf Greek Texaco Gas Station. While my son was helped with gas, I went inside a general store to use it's restroom. There was a man,( he was the owner,as I found out it later) who informed me that the restroom was outside of the store. I thought:" Oh, that is never good". But I asked the owner, just in case:" Is it safe?". The answer was:" Oh, yes of course!!!" Havin
We gave the Gas Attendant an extra $2 for not killing us and left. There was no way we would have used a credit card.
Nice peaceful town. With a classic look to the store. Needs better selections though.

This is the best place in town to stop. They sell groceries, pump gas. The staff are friendly and the place is clean.
However, there are a large number of unsavory people in this town. The review below is a bit over the top, but largely correct. If you are by yourself at night, I'd suggest staying on the freeway.
We decided we may not have enough gas to get to Grants pass and decided to pull into Wolf Creek, after dark, maybe 9:30.
